Carte Blanche II adaptors to suit other interfaces and systems
Carte Blanche II has a comprehensive 5V bus interface that is capable of accommodating both data and clocking services.
The bus interface supports both 3.3V and 5V bidirectional logic and has a single bus isolation control bit that can put the bus into a tri-state. Power to the interface consists of +5V, -5V, +12V and -12V.
Adaptors are available for changing the physical interface, allowing CBII to be used in other platforms.
The CBII Commodore C64 to Apple II adaptor board allows CBII to interface with C64 computers. The CBIIC64 adaptor board plugs into the C64's 44 pin expansion port and provides a 50 pin port for CBII to plug into.
The CBII JAMMA adaptor provides the physical connections required to interface CBII with a JAMMA compliant arcade cabinet or Supergun. An ATX PSU connector is also provided on the board allowing for a low cost PC power supply to power the system.
The CBII Apple 2GS Memory Expansion Board adaptor allows CBII to interface its onboard 32MB DRAM as an expansion memory board for the IIGS. In addition it also provides ROM expansion as well as the ability to monitor memory contents directly.
